Bakar, Warden of Dagon's dungeons. They find the Crystal Spring, and Jo-el decides to pass through Archonland as a shortcut to warn his father of the impending invasion of Rhenar. He is recaptured and chained to a war machine from which he is to witness the destruction of his homeland. The climax is a thrilling confrontation of Jo-el by the Son of
Elyah, the God of creation.
